Today we made marzipan sculptures. Marzipan is by far the most difficult medium I have ever used. It kept melting on me and collapsing in on itself, and in 45 min I only successfully made 3 tiny figurines after i had to scratch my baby idea. The baby idea, I found inspiration from Jonathon Swift's "A Modest Proposal" and since I have a special sense of humor, I thought it would be very funny to make edible babies. It was awful, something I need to work and focus on. Here are what I made:
